Red Sox at Fenway

Thursday night we went to Fenway for one of the Red Sox' last home games of the season. Silas' friend Caleb joined us and during the sing along of " Sweet Caroline " by Neil Diamond they and us spent a few seconds on the big screen.


Our seats were right in between home and first giving us an excellent view.



the game was against the Cleveland Indians - who they beat 3-0.Nearly all our favourities played including.....

Quinn's team are having a great season - she has played in goal as well as on the field.Check out this goal saving action.

Ashley and Si went to Fenway for Si's birthday.

Silas' 11th Birthday in Cape Cod

We went camping on Cape Cod for Silas' birthday weekend. We didn't know about Hurricane Bill and the whole tents and sandy crapy campground with wind, rain thunder and lightening all night didnt work out so well and we ended up in a cabin (cabbage)at a nicer campground for nights 2 and 3.The night prior to Si and Ash going to a Red Sox game at Fenway we had a Red Sox cake and birthday rager with balloons (its a boy !!),ice creaam and spaghetti at the cabbage.

International Mini Golf championship

Held in Cheddar, England this years mini golf championship was a huge success. the finals featured the best players from US and Australia. The Aussies kicked things off with a hole in one, the American team held their own for a while but debris on the course ( sticks ) and a blockage on hole 14 ( rocks in a pipe ) threw them off their game at a critical point. They came back strongly in the last section of this gruelling course but it wasnt enough. Both teams celebrated with fish and chips.

All 4 generations were present at the gathering in Cheddar with family memebers travelling from the US, Australia, Wales and Nyland to represent. Cheese sticks were the snack of choice, tea was made in military like quantities and Quinn drank pints.

Skate Park in Bath

Went to Bath today to the park - Silas spent 2 hours grinding, ollying and general skate ratting.

Diggerland - The Worlds Greatest Theme Park

Silas and Matt are in the UK for a week - with Quinn who was too busy today to come with us to Diggerland - which is possibly the best place ever.

Poppy paints and wears her shorts backwards
